About This Event...
For the last 9 years, I've been providing my services exclusively online, to clients across the globe. The ability to reach people from far and wide without limitations on how many people could attend an online training has been lovely, but now I'd like to create a more boots-on-the-ground presence in my own community. Born and raised in Montreal, I'd like to share these skills with people close-by and create a network of support in my home-town.
My work focuses on a unique approach I like to refer to as 'Emotional Fitness Training'. There are many reasons why this term works so well to describe what I do, but the main one is that I believe in building practical skills and tools to develop the emotional muscles necessary to turn our moments of triggers and emotional distress into moments of healing.
The body is constantly trying to help us heal. We just need to learn how to feel safe while the body goes through the purging process its been trying to go through this whole time.
You can't solve an emotional problem with the intellect. You have to learn how to feel it and deal with it head on.
At this live event, I'm going to take you on a tour of the step-by-step process I've been using with my clients for close to a decade, to get them results that years of therapy failed to deliver. We are going to address each element of how anxiety manifests within us (thoughts, emotions, sensations and nervous system), and we are going to learn and apply methodical skills for handling each one, so that we can end the feedback loop of fear that keep us stuck and learn to genuinely feel safe in our minds, our hearts and our bodies.
This isn't just a conceptual overview. By the time you leave this session, you will have a set of skills and tools that you will use every day for the rest of your life (plus, you'll have some take-home materials to help you review what you learn here, so that you don't forget it).
I'll be honest with you though...
There are no 'magic-wand solutions' here.
Just as it is with regular fitness traning, this stuff requires persistance and practice. If you're hoping to lie on your back for one quick guided meditation and walk out with all of your problems solved, you're in the wrong place. I have no miracles to offer you. But I do have a guaranteed approach to real progress for those who are determined to conquer their anxiety once and for all.
