Privacy Policy & Terms of Service

1. Who is responsible for your information
This policy covers emotionallyfitme.com and benjysherercoaching.com, both run by Benjy Sherer Coaching ("we", "us"), based in Quebec, Canada.

Benjy Sherer, the owner, is the person responsible for protecting your personal information. You can reach him at bsherer@therightson.com.

This policy was last updated on October 5, 2026.

2. What we collect
Information you give us

Your name, email address and phone number when you register for a training, book a call or contact us.
Your answers on an application or booking form.
What you share with us by email or on a call.
Some of what you tell us on a form or a call may be personal and sensitive. We use it only to understand your situation and to work with you.

Payment information

Payments are handled by payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal. We see that you paid and your billing details. We don't store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, we collect basic technical information: the pages you view, the date and time, your device and browser type, your IP address, and how you arrived (for example, from an ad).

3. Why we collect it
We use your information to:

Send you the training you registered for and emails related to it and to our programs.
Book and hold calls with you.
Deliver our programs and support you as a client.
Take payments.
Understand how the site and our ads are performing so we can improve them.
Meet our legal obligations.
We don't use your information for anything else without asking you first.

4. Cookies and tracking tools
This site uses cookies and similar tools from Google and Meta (Facebook). They help us see how the site is used, measure how our ads are doing, and show our ads to people who have visited.

These tools can recognize your device from one visit to the next.

[Confirm before publishing: is a cookie consent banner in place? If yes, keep the next sentence. If no, see my note in chat.] You can accept or decline these tools in the cookie banner when you first visit.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work.

5. Who we share it with
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.

We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need to do their job:

Website and course hosting
Customer records and email
Payment processing (such as Stripe and PayPal)
Analytics and advertising (Google and Meta)
File storage
AI tools that help with administrative work, such as organizing notes
We may also share information when the law requires it.

Most of these providers are based in the United States. That means your information may be stored and processed outside Quebec and outside Canada.

6. How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We protect it by limiting who can access it and by using password-protected accounts with established providers.

No system is perfectly secure. If a privacy incident ever puts you at risk of serious harm, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

7. Your rights
You can ask us to:

Show you the personal information we have about you.
Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
Delete your information, or stop using it.
Send you a copy of the information you gave us in a common electronic format.
You can also withdraw your consent at any time, and unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email.

To use any of these rights, email bsherer@therightson.com. We will answer within 30 days.

If you aren't satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, or the privacy regulator where you live.

8. Children
This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will post a notice on the site or email you.
