Learn more about me and my approach to all natural anxiety relief by watching these free training videos.

In this video, we dive into the most important, most foundational psychological principle that basically all of the rest of my teachings rely on. Until you understand this simple subcoscnious cycle and the various elements of your inner experience, you will forever be a slave to it... and to your emotions, thoughts and defense mechanisms.

I'm not the first person to ever use the phrase "Emotional Fitness", but it's definitely not a well known concept and my approach to it (and to mental health in general) is unique. In this video, we'll explore the core elements of Emotional Fitness Training and explore the step-by-step process that I use with my clients to get the results that therapy never gave them.

Are you stuck in negative thought cycles, overthinking, catastrophizing and all of the worst case scenarios? This can be torture. But if you can start to understand some simple things about how your thoughts actually work, you can stop being fooled by that constant fear-based radio playing in your head. Let's explore what's really going on.

We've all heard the expression that "time heals all wounds", but is that really true? I mean, sure... healing takes time. There's no doubt about that. But does time alone do the trick? Can you just wait it out and hope the healing to happen on its own? Or does sitting and waiting just allow the scars to settle while the underlying pain stays stuck? Let's talk about it.

The whole reason I developed this approach is because 'talking about it' never got me anywhere. While therapy can be helpful for many and I don't want to knock it entirely, I think there are some fundamental flaws to that approach prevent people from really getting the results they want, and it keeps them stuck for years. Let's explore why that is.

In this video, I get kind of personal. Talking about Emotional Fitness in general is all well and good, but it's all useless unless we can apply these skills, tools and techniques to real situations in our daily life, right? Well, in this video I'll tell you about a trigger I experienced in my personal life and how I applied the very lessons that I teach to get me through it.

Many people I talk to have been doing plenty of work to try to heal their anxiety. Years of therapy, CBT, DBT meditation, medication, exercise, diet changes... and yet, they're still struggling. Well, the truth is that even if any of those methods COULD work, we first have to eliminate some bad habits that are fueling our anxiety. Let's talk about those habits.

People ask me all the time, "Benjy, how do I stop thinking so much?". They think the goal is to clear their minds like the Buddha in a way that will require decades worth of hilltop meditation (if it's at all possible). But the simple secret is that you can't just STOP thinking... You have to START turning your attention somewhere else.

The goal of Emotional Fitness Training isn't just to be able to handle your triggers better, it's to get triggered less and less until basically nothing can rattle you anymore. It takes time and practice to build these muscles, but we can reach a point where none of the daily things that used to trigger you have much power over you any more. Let's talk about how to get there.

Mantras, affirmations and self-love statements... They can be lovely things. It's definitely better to have positive thoughts in your head than negative, judgmental, doubtful ones. But too many people rely on this 'positive mindset' approach and don't realize that you can't just talk your way into true emotional freedom. Let's talk about what's missing.

It's great that people are recognizing the importance of dealing with trauma, but people seem to think that trauma lives in the past and that healing it is about revisiting and analyzing what happened in your worst moments. But that's not the case. Trauma lives in the here and now. Let's learn the difference between trauma and trauma events.

This is so much more than just another guided meditation. This is a condensed version of the most important tools and skills of Emotional Fitness Training. Use this video when you're deep in your pain and need to bring yourself back to stability or use it to train these muscles so that you are prepared for the next big challenge.
